Corey Davis, Tevin Coleman Out For Thursday Night Football
3 years agoNew York Jets wide receiver Corey Davis (hip) and running back Tevin Coleman (hamstring) won't play in Thursday's game against the Indianapolis Colts. As expected, both Davis and Coleman were doubtful heading into Thursday's contest. Neither player got on the practice field on the short week and were ultimately ruled out. Davis will miss his second straight game, while Coleman will miss his third consecutive contest. Jamison Crowder will operate as Jets QB Mike White's top target after catching eight passes for 84 yards in a Week 8 over the Cincinnati Bengals. He is a solid flex play in most league formats. Rookie Elijah Moore and Keelan Cole should also see an uptick in targets. Jets RB Michael Carter broke out last Sunday, rushing for 77 yards and a touchdown while adding nine catches for 95 yards on 14 targets in Sunday's 34-31 win over the Bengals. Carter is a borderline RB1 against a Colts defense that is ranked 20th in rush DVOA. Davis and Coleman's next chance to return will be Week 10 against the Buffalo Bills.
