7 years agoAfter a day off on Wednesday, Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder Corey Dickerson didn't miss a beat on Thursday, going 1-for-3 with a double against the Chicago Cubs. The knock extended his hitting streak to a modest seven games and was his sixth double of the year, which puts him second in MLB. He also added his first two walks of the season and scored a run. Dickerson is certainly making up for the absence of Andrew McCutchen in the Pittsburgh lineup early on, hitting .341/.386/.610 through 44 plate appearances.--Matt Wilkes
