7 years agoPittsburgh Pirates outfielder Corey Dickerson went 1-for-4 and launched his fifth home run of the season in a 6-4 victory over the Milwaukee Brewers on Friday. The two-run shot came off of Junior Guerra in the third inning and gave Dickerson his third long ball in his last five games. The left fielder has been one of the most valuable players in baseball through the first month of the season and is making the Tampa Bay Rays' decision to trade him before spring training look rather foolish. Dickerson will carry a .313/.357/.539 slash line into Saturday's contest.--Matt Wilkes
