Corey Dickerson Notches Two Hits, Steal on Wednesday
7 years agoAfter a slow start to his Pittsburgh Pirates career, outfielder Chris Dickerson had his first multi-hit game of the year on Wednesday against the Minnesota Twins. Dickerson went 2-for-4 on the night with a run and a steal, which is a nice bonus for a player who had only 14 career stolen bases coming into the game. The 28-year-old had been just 1-for-14 on the season before picking up a single in the fourth inning. Dickerson is a bit of a streaky hitter, so perhaps Wednesday's game was what he needs to get it going at the plate.
