4 years agoMiami Marlins outfielder Corey Dickerson reached base all three times he came to the plate in Friday's rain-shortened game against the Boston Red Sox. Dickerson was 2-for-2 with two singles and a walk. He scored a run as well, lifting his batting average to .277 and his OPS to .724. At this stage in his career, Dickerson is a decent OBP option that can slap a few pitches the other way for singles but seems light years away from the power hitter that hit 27 home runs in 2017. He'll continue hitting in the middle of the Marlins order though, mostly due to Don Mattingly rarely having any idea what he's doing.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
