6 years agoPittsburgh Pirates outfielder Corey Dickerson (shoulder) will throw long toss this weekend, announced the team’s director of sports medicine Wednesday. Dickerson has been out since April 4 with a strained shoulder, and he suffered a setback in late April that delayed his rehab. In his place, the Pirates have used a combination of Melky Cabrera, Bryan Reynolds, and also Jason Martin who has since been optioned to Triple-A. Outfielder Lonnie Chisenhall also began his rehab assignment Tuesday and could make his Pirates debut within the next two weeks. Dickerson is possibly looking at a mid-June activation of all goes well in his rehab.--Steve Janik - RotoBaller
