Corey Kluber Sharp In Rehab Start
5 years agoCleveland Indians starting pitcher Corey Kluber (forearm) allowed one run in four innings in a rehab start for Double-A Akron. Kluber threw 60 pitches and struck out 6 in his second rehab start as he recovers from a fracture in his forearm. Kluber has been on the Injured List since early May but appears to be nearing a return to the Cleveland rotation. The former Cy Young winner got off to a rough start this season but pitched to a 2.89 ERA with a 3.08 xFIP last season so the upside is still there for him to be a league-winner if he comes back healthy for the stretch run and fantasy playoffs.
