4 years agoNew York Yankees starting pitcher Corey Kluber pitched poorly on Friday, allowing five runs (three earned) over only 2.1 innings. Kluber didn't get any favors from the team's defense, but Kluber didn't help himself much either. Notably, both Kluber and manager were encouraged by Kluber's stuff on Friday despite his poor results. That optimism wasn't backed up by Kluber's numbers on Friday, though, and fantasy managers shouldn't rely on Kluber until the 35-year-old shows more signs of improvement.--Sam Chinitz
