3 years agoNew York Yankees starting pitcher Corey Kluber (shoulder) extended his throwing distance from 60 to 75 feet, per manager Aaron Boone. Kluber has yet to be stretched out further, but it's still a good sign that he's able to push his shoulder a bit without setback. The veteran righty is still a ways away from returning, as he's still just long tossing, though the Yankees should keep updating his status as he gets closer to pitching off the mound. The Yankees will likely continue to utilize Michael King as a starter in the absence of Kluber.--Tim Capurso
