7 years agoThe Milwaukee Brewers recalled relief pitcher Corey Knebel from Triple-A Colorado Springs on Sunday. Knebel was sent down on Aug. 24 while struggling recently, posting a 7.36 ERA since July 4 over 19 outings. The hard-throwing right-hander was an All Star in 2017 when he had a 1.78 ERA and 39 saves while striking out 126 in 76 innings. Knebel also dealt with injuries this year, but he could return to a late-inning role in Milwaukee. However, Jeremy Jeffress and Josh Hader remain the favorites for saves for now.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
