3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers shortstop Corey Seager (hand) could be activated from the injured list during the team's upcoming weekend series against the Arizona Diamondbacks. He's been sidelined since mid-May due to a fractured right hand. "Seager felt really good and recovered the right way," said manager Dave Roberts. "Hoping for an activation this weekend in Arizona." The 27-year-old has progressed well in his recovery, and with all the injuries the Dodgers have suffered recently, he might not need to go on a rehab assignment as previously reported. Seager slashed .265/.361/.422 with four home runs, 22 RBI, and one stolen base over 169 plate appearances in 2021.
