Corey Seager Back In The Lineup Monday
2 years agoTexas Rangers shortstop Corey Seager (leg) is serving as the designated hitter and is batting second on Monday against Baltimore Orioles right-hander Spenser Watkins. This is great news for the Rangers and fantasy managers alike, as it was reported over the weekend that there was a chance Seager would be placed on the injured list due to his leg injury. He's not back at the 6, but it's good news to see him in the starting lineup, regardless. The 28-year-old finished off the month of July by hitting a strong .318/.394/.647 with a 1.041 OPS, eight home runs, 19 RBI and 15 runs scored in 23 games played. Fantasy managers are hoping he can keep it up in August. Return him to your starting lineups.
