Corey Seager Not Ready For Rehab Assignment
3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers shortstop Corey Seager (hand) is not quite ready to begin a rehab assignment, according to skipper Dave Roberts. The 27-year-old has been out since mid-May because of a fractured right hand. However, after experiencing soreness recently, the team will play it safe and delay things a bit, although it isn't known if he will report to Triple-A Oklahoma City or Low-A Rancho Cucamonga when he is ready. In the meantime, Gavin Lux should continue to hold things down at the position, with Zach McKinstry and Andy Burns also in line to continue to benefit with extra playing time.
