Corey Seager Set To Go On Rehab Assignment
3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said on Sunday that shortstop Corey Seager (hand) is expected to begin a rehab assignment on either Friday or Saturday. Roberts wasn't sure where Seager would go on his assignment and he also didn't commit to a timeframe of how long Seager will be on his assignment. The positive news is that Seager is trending towards his return and he will be a big boost to managers. The upcoming free agent is hitting .265 with four home runs and 22 RBI on the season. Middle infielder Gavin Lux will shift back to second base when Seager returns and there should be less playing for guys like infielder/outfielder Zach McKinstry, infielder Matt Beaty and second baseman Andy Burns.
