4 years agoCory Sandhagen went into the Octagon and did what was needed to earn the second-round technical knockout. Sandhagen landed a huge leg kick, which caught the top of Marlon Moraes' head, sending him head over feet. He followed up with the ground-and-pound until the referee stopped the bout, declaring Sandhagen the winner. Sandhagen also netted 38 significant strikes on the night. Aljamain Sterling is still the rightful No. 1 contender for the title, but in the UFC, you just never know. If Sandhagen does not meet Petr Yan for the title next, he may sit out for his title shot. If he does take a bout in the meantime, he's going to need to keep pumping out huge victories to stay in the division's limelight.--Matt Bricker - RotoBaller
