Courtland Sutton A Must-Start In Week 1
2 years agoDenver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton enters the Week 1 season opener on Monday night against the Seattle Seahawks as new quarterback Russell Wilson's top target. The 26-year-old was Wilson's favorite target in training camp and has looked like his 2019 Pro Bowl self, when he caught 72 passes for a career-high 1,112 yards and six touchdowns. Sutton tore his ACL in 2020 and played in only one game that year, and he returned in 2021 to catch 58 of 98 targets for 776 yards and two scores. As Wilson's go-target through the air in 2022, Sutton could be in line for his best season as a pro. The Seahawks pass defense was actually pretty stingy against opposing wideouts last year in terms of fantasy points per game, but Sutton will be a must-start high-end WR2 to kick things off on Monday night.
