Courtland Sutton Explodes For Monster Game
5 years agoDenver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton had a stellar game to kick off his sophomore campaign against the Oakland Raiders, rewarding any owners that gave him a shot in their Week 1 lineup. The former SMU Mustang hauled in seven of the eight balls thrown his way, both team highs, for 120 yards, also a team-high. Sutton proved to be a steady target for quarterback Joe Flacco, consistently getting chunk yardage. There is concern regarding the shaky overall team performance by the Broncos offense, making Sutton a low-end flex play in Week 2.
