Cowboys All-In On Andy Dalton As Starting QB At This Stage
4 years agoThe signing of Dallas Cowboys quarterback Andy Dalton was hailed as a savvy maneuver during the off-season as a means of getting Dak Prescott a veteran backup. Fast-forward to Week 6, and Dalton is the only QB on the active roster to start an NFL game. With the announcement Saturday that the Lions had signed David Blough to their active roster, that leaves Ben DiNucci, whom Dallas picked in the seventh-round of the 2020 NFL Draft out of James Madison, as the team’s backup to Dalton. There is no heir apparent in sight to Dalton, while further injuries or virus concerns surrounding the QB room in Dallas could lead to fantasy managers targeting opposing defenses due to the lack of experience behind the starter.
