6 years agoThe Dallas Cowboys defense had a subpar performance on Sunday but did a great job considering that they were matched up against Atlanta's lethal offensive lineup. The Cowboys defense held the Falcons to just 19 points and sacked quarterback Matt Ryan three times throughout the day in addition to picking him off once courtesy of the rising rookie linebacker Leighton Vander Esch. They has been playing well in recent weeks but are lacking in big plays that result in heavy fantasy points. As a result, they should be considered a fringe option going into Week 12 as they did not post great numbers in their first meeting of the year against Washington.--Matthew.McGough
