3 years agoDallas Cowboys defensive end Randy Gregory is on track to be activated from the Reserve/COVID-19 list Wednesday, per head coach Mike McCarthy. Gregory played more than half of the snaps for the Cowboys defense in a Week 1 defeat to Tampa Bay, adding a recovered fumble before missing their Week 2 win. To Gregory's benefit, he will have an additional day of preparation, as Dallas takes on Philadelphia for Monday Night Football in Week 3. Having compiled 3.5 sacks in 10 games last year, Gregory gives the Cowboys a much-needed pass-rushing option with DeMarcus Lawrence out for the foreseeable future.--Jesse Borek
