2 years agoDallas Cowboys kicker Brett Maher was promoted from the practice squad to the active roster on Saturday. The team didn't have a kicker on the depth chart, so elevating Maher was an obvious decision ahead of the Sunday Night Football matchup versus the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The 32-year-old hasn't been the most potent fantasy performer over the years, nailing only 65 of his 84 attempts during his career. While Maher could make for a streaming option for needy managers, he won't be a week-to-week fantasy starter until he becomes more consistent.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
