Cowboys Release Cooper Rush
2 years agoThe Dallas Cowboys released quarterback Cooper Rush on Tuesday, according to a person familiar with the move. Rush has accrued at least four years of NFL experience, so he won't be subject to waivers. Rush and Will Grier are both off the initial 53-man roster, but it's likely that at least one of them will return to Dallas to back up starter Dak Prescott in 2022. The 28-year-old Rush completed 31 of his 50 passing attempts for 424 yards, three touchdowns and one interception in 10 games (one start) in his four seasons with the Cowboys.
