5 years agoChicago Cubs closer Craig Kimbrel picked up his fifth save of the season on Friday versus the Padres. It was Kimbrel’s eighth appearance with his new club and the sixth time that he didn’t allow a run. Kimbrel looked a bit rusty early on in his Cubs tenure, but has looked more like himself as he has pitched more. Kimbrel can safely be played and is one of the better options at the closer position.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
