4 years agoChicago Cubs closer Craig Kimbrel continued his strong season by picking up his eighth save of the season versus the Washington Nationals on Tuesday evening. Kimbrel faced four batters and retired all four, but Ryan Zimmerman reached on a dropped third strike. Kimbrel would finish the inning with two strikeouts and now owns an impressive 1.08 ERA with 27 strikeouts in 16 2/3 innings.
