4 years agoChicago Cubs relief pitcher Craig Kimbrel picked up his second save of the season on Saturday versus the Brewers. Kimbrel has really struggled this year and Jeremy Jeffress who has been acting as the teams closer was unavailable, because he’s pitched in three of the last four days. Kimbrel started the inning by allowing a pair of singles before recording a strikeout, groundout and a line out to give the Cubs the victory. Despite getting the save on Saturday, Jeremy Jeffress remains the best option in the Cubs bullpen.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
