3 years agoBoston Bruins right wing Craig Smith (undisclosed) won't be available for Wednesday's clash with the Panthers and will also sit out another road game on Thursday against Carolina. The veteran winger, who's failed to pick up a point so far this season, sat out his first game of the year on Sunday when Boston beat San Jose 4-3. The Bruins hope to get him back for the weekend. Jack Studnicka made his season debut against the Sharks and has joined the top six in Smith's absence. The 22-year-old boasts just four points in 23 NHL appearances but has shown upside in the AHL with 63 points in 79 career games.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
