4 years agoHouston Astros starter Cristian Javier allowed two runs in 3 2/3 innings in the Astros 9-5 win over the A's on Friday. Javier was pulled after 73 pitches and struck out four batters in the game. Javier was brought along slowly in the spring and his pitch count should be slowly increased in the coming starts. Long term, Javier has the talent to be a solid mid-rotation starter for Houston moving forward but it will take time.--Joey C - RotoBaller
