4 years agoHouston Astros starter Cristian Javier will try and finish up the month of May strong heading into the team's series against the Dodgers. Javier was fantastic out of the chute, posting a 0.87 ERA through his first four starts. But that ERA has jumped to 4.82 over his last five starts and he has allowed seven home runs during that span. Javier has struck out 58 hitters through his first 48 2/3 innings pitched this season and has held opponents to a promising .173 batting average. But the young pitcher will have to try and keep the ball in the ballpark moving forward to have quality value in most fantasy formats.--Joey C - RotoBaller
