2 years agoHouston Astros right-handed pitcher Cristian Javier is expected to shift back into a starting role soon, according to manager Dusty Baker. Javier was taken out of the Astros rotation for this turn, as the team wants to go with a five-man rotation for the time being. However, Javier will likely pitch multiple innings out of the bullpen to keep him on track for a return to the rotation. The 25-year-old certainly deserves a rotation spot from a performance perspective, as he has a 2.88 ERA, 1.00 WHIP, and a 146/40 K/BB ratio over 112 ⅓ IP. Hopefully, for fantasy managers, he gets his spot back as soon as possible.--Matt Garon - RotoBaller
