Javier began the season as a starter but switched to a relief role after nine outings in the rotation. Overall, the 24-year-old has pitched to a 3.55 ERA, a 4.43 FIP, 130 strikeouts, and 53 walks in 101.1 innings this season. Since switching to the bullpen, 14 of Javier's 25 relief appearances have lasted two innings or more.
