4 years agoHouston Astros starting pitcher Cristian Javier turned heads in his first major-league start versus the Dodgers last Wednesday, and is looking to repeat his performance Tuesday. He limited the formidable LA club to two hits and one run over 5 2/3 innings while striking out eight in the no-decision. He'll now face a struggling Diamondbacks squad on Tuesday who have scored two runs in as many contests, and have hit a paltry .188 off righties this year with a wRC+ of 57. Although Javier lacks big-league experience, his matchup is favorable versus a slumping team, and he'll have a terrific offense batting behind him. The 23-year-old is an intriguing DFS play and is worth adding in season-long leagues as a streamer at minimum.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
