4 years agoAtlanta Braves outfielder Cristian Pache is not among the club’s starting nine Sunday against Philadelphia and right-hander Zach Eflin. Even with Ronald Acuna Jr. (wrist) sidelined, Pache hasn’t found an everyday role in the Atlanta outfield as Nick Markakis has rejoined the mix. Pache has gone just 1-for-4 at the plate since his call up, and figures to head back to the club’s alternate training site in the near future. Ranked as the No. 14 prospect in the Majors per MLB Pipeline, there’s little doubt that Pache will eventually have his chance to play everyday, but that doesn’t seem to be now, giving him little season-long fantasy intrigue for non-keepers leagues.--Jesse Borek
