Cristian Pache Could Offer Braves A Defensive Upgrade

4 years agoAtlanta Braves outfielder Cristian Pache (ankle) is fully recovered from a sprained ankle that he suffered in summer camp and could offer the team an upgrade both on offense and in center field over the struggling Ender Inciarte. The 21-year-old is the consensus best defender in the minors, but his bat is certainly behind his glove, which might push him down a bit in the fantasy realm when considering top prospects to stash on your rosters. Speed might be his greatest asset offensively, but he hasn't used it to his advantage yet as a baserunner in the minor leagues. Pache is developing as a hitter and has shown more pop at the dish, but we can't honestly say that he'd be a difference-maker in fantasy in 2020 if he gets called up.
