4 years agoAtlanta Braves outfielder Cristian Pache (groin) has been placed on the 10-day injured list with a left groin strain, according to David O'Brien of The Athletic. Pache had struck out swinging in his last at-bat in the bottom of the fourth inning, and he was then replaced in the top of the fifth inning by Ender Inciarte. He has struggled at the plate to open the year, going 4-for-30 with 13 strikeouts in 11 games. The Braves will announce a corresponding move on Wednesday, with the likely candidates to be called up being Guillermo Heredia or Abraham Almonte.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
