CT Scan Reveals Fracture In Chris Taylor's Foot
2 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers infielder/outfielder Chris Taylor (foot) underwent a CT scan on Tuesday, which revealed a fracture in his left foot. The Dodgers are expected to place Taylor on the injured list, and there is no timetable for his return. "It's a small fracture, but it's going to be a little longer than initially expected," said Taylor. The Dodgers utility infielder has been solid for fantasy managers this season, slashing .238/.319/.409 with six home runs, 27 RBI, 32 runs scored, and six stolen bases in 252 at-bats. Jake Lamb is starting in left field for Taylor and batting seventh in Tuesday's contest. Lamb is hitting .375 with two extra-base hits and an RBI over four games in 2022. The 31-year-old should see an uptick in at-bats while Taylor is sidelined and is a speculative add in deep-league formats.
