4 years agoChicago Cubs outfielder Ian Happ will get a day of rest on Friday versus the Milwaukee Brewers. Happ has been the Cubs leadoff hitter this season, but has really struggled in that role. A prime breakout candidate this season, Happ is only hitting .155 with one home run, one RBI and six runs scored on the season. Managers in deeper leagues should remain patient, but move him to the bench for now. Catcher Willson Contreras will be leading off on Friday in place of Happ and Jake Marisnick will replace him in the outfield and bat eighth. Marisnick can be avoided in all formats for now, but should see more playing time with outfielder Joc Pederson (wrist) on the injured list--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
