2 years agoSan Francisco Giants catcher Curt Casali (oblique) was placed on the 10-day injured list Tuesday. He suffered a Grade 2 oblique strain on Monday and is expected to miss the next three-to-four weeks. The 33-year-old is slashing .231/.325/.370 with four home runs, 14 RBI, and 13 runs over 41 games in 2022. San Francisco is expected to call up top prospect Joey Bart to the active roster. Yermin Mercedes and Austin Wynns should also see additional time behind the plate while Casali is sidelined. Fantasy managers in two-catcher formats should look to add Bart but he has been unable to find any consistency at the plate so far this season. The 25-year-old slashed .156/.296/.300 with four homers and seven RBI across 36 games before being demoted to Triple-A Sacramento in mid-June.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
