6 years agoToronto Blue Jays outfielder Curtis Granderson has been losing playing time to Randal Grichuk as of late, and with the rate he’s going, it’s only going to get worse. Granderson finished 0-for-4 in a loss to the New York Yankees on Wednesday, striking out twice in the process. He’s now failed to pick up a hit in his last six games, a span that has seen him go 0-for-17. Granderson’s slash line now sits at a very unimpressive .213/.347/.369. Much like fellow Toronto outfielders Kevin Pillar and Teoscar Hernandez, Granderson started off the year hot but has seen his production fall off a cliff. If you were holding onto him for whatever reason, you can feel safe cutting bait.--John Smith
