7 years agoToronto Blue Jays left fielder Curtis Granderson will sit (rest) against the Red Sox on Sunday. He has started on the bench for the entire series, as the Red Sox have started left-handed pitchers for each of the three games. Granderson has hit just .143 against lefties this season, so his benchings appear to be nothing more than matchup choices. Granderson should be out of fantasy owners' lineups today, but look for him to return to the lineup Tuesday when the Blue Jays are slated to face righty Noah Syndergaard.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
