7 years agoToronto Blue Jays outfielder Curtis Granderson is sitting out the team’s first game of their doubleheader against the Kansas City Royals on Tuesday. Teoscar Hernandez will be making his second start of the season in Granderson’s place. It’s the same plan the Blue Jays had for Granderson on Monday before that game was postponed due to weather. With lefty Eric Skoglund on the mound, Granderson was always going to ride the pine for this one. Granderson is off to a great start as a Blue Jay, slashing .324/.514/.918 with a home run and two doubles across 42 plate appearances.--John Smith
