Curtis Granderson Walks Off Jays
7 years agoToronto Blue Jays outfielder Curtis Granderson has quietly gotten off to a very good start for the Blue Jays in 2018, and he put an explanation point on it on Tuesday night. In a 4-3 victory over the Boston Red Sox, Granderson finished 3-for-5 with a walk-off home run in the 10th inning, a double and three RBI. For the year, the Grandyman is slashing .321/.424/.571 with three home runs, a triple, three doubles, 11 runs scored and 12 RBI. Playing time could be an issue here, as Toronto has an outfield logjam with Granderson, Kevin Pillar, Teoscar Hernandez and Randal Grichuk, but at least for now it’s not much of an issue with how bad Grichuk has been.
