3 years agoWashington Football Team wide receiver Curtis Samuel (groin/COVID-19) returned to the practice field on Sunday but remains on the COVID-19 list. Samuel will have to work his way back into practice shape, as he has not been on the field since June when he tweaked his groin. Samuel should be participating in drills within the next couple of days, so it shouldn't be too much of a concern that he has missed this much time. It is a safe bet that Samuel won't have very much playing time in the preseason, so returning as a full participant at practice is crucial to building a connection with quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick. Samuel will have enough time to get up to full speed before Week 1 against the Los Angeles Chargers, but if his groin injury continues to nag him it wouldn't be a shock if he misses some time during the season. He remains a WR3 in fantasy with some upside.--Tommy Adamopoulos - RotoBaller
