5 years agoCarolina Panthers wide receiver Curtis Samuel is "light years" ahead of where he was when he first entered the league, according to Ron Rivera. "He has taken an even bigger leap. It's exciting to watch," touted the ninth-year coach when commenting on Samuel's progression. The 22-year-old has had a semi-uneventful two seasons in the league up to this point, compiling just 609 receiving yards while accumulating seven touchdowns. Now in his third season, the Panthers are hoping that his efficient performance during training camp will translate to the field when the season kicks off in a little under a month.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
