Curtis Samuel Not Seeing Enough Targets
4 years agoCarolina Panthers wide receiver Curtis Samuel will be hard to trust in a difficult matchup with the Chicago Bears in Week 6. Samuel has been pretty efficient this year on limited looks, as he's hauled in 19 of 23 targets for 183 receiving yards. That's the problem though- he's only seen 23 targets to Robby Anderson's 46 and D.J. Moore's 37, making him the clear third fiddle in this offense and fourth, if you consider Mike Davis. The Bears have surrendered the sixth-most targets to opposing wideouts but the second-fewest fantasy points, so the defense is certainly no slouch. It makes Samuel hard to trust as anything more than a WR4 in Week 6.
