3 years agoWashington Football Team wide receiver Curtis Samuel (groin) was not in pads for practice on Monday as he worked off to the sidelines with team trainers. Head coach Ron Rivera has said that the team will ease Samuel back in, but at this point, it seems a bit concerning for his rapport with quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick, as the 25-year-old has logged almost no practice time with his new team since he suffered the injury in June. Nonetheless, the former Carolina Panther is familiar with Rivera and offensive coordinator Scott Turner, so upon his return to action, he should fit right in. Fantasy managers could potentially get him at a discount because of his injury concerns, but he still has the look of a solid WR3. Against weak opposing secondaries, Samuel could be in for some big games with what should be the largest role he has played in his NFL career.--Tommy Adamopoulos - RotoBaller
