D.J. Moore Day-to-Day With Hamstring Injury
3 years agoCarolina Panthers wide receiver D.J. Moore (hamstring) tweaked his hamstring and is considered day-to-day, according to head coach Matt Rhule. Moore caught six passes for 84 yards on 10 targets in Week 14, so the Panthers can't afford to lose their alpha receiver in an already struggling offense. If he is to be held out of action against the Buffalo Bills in Week 15, Robby Anderson could see a sizeable role after seeing 12 targets in Week 14. Brandon Zylstra would also likely see an uptick in volume, but a matchup with a tough pass defense doesn't give him an inspiring outlook even if Moore is to be held out. If Moore is able to suit up on Sunday, he will be a mid-to-high-end WR2.
