D.J. Moore Has a Tough Week 1 Matchup

5 years agoCarolina Panthers wide receiver D.J. Moore is primed to breakout in 2019 but he may have some tough sledding Week 1 against the Rams. Moore should line up against Rams cornerback Marcus Peters most of the game which will be tough for the second year receiver. Although Peters is a very good player, he does like to take chances in the secondary and will try to make some risky interceptions which gives Moore a chance to make a big play. Regardless of the tough Week 1 matchup, Moore should be in your lineup as the Panthers will likely need to throw a lot to keep pace with the high-powered Rams offense. He should remain in your lineup throughout the season as a WR2 as long as Cam Newton stays healthy.--Mike Riggall - RotoBaller
