D.J. Moore Quiet Against Cardinals
4 years agoCarolina Panthers wide receiver D.J. Moore had a quiet day in a win over the Cardinals. Moore was targeted six times and hauled in four passes for 49 receiving yards. The 23-year-old probably didn't benefit from Teddy Bridgewater's spread-the-ball-around approach, as he wasn't peppered with targets like he was in Week 2. Moore surprisingly took a backseat to both Robby Anderson and Curtis Samuel, though he clearly wasn't needed when the Panthers were up 28-7. The air yards and target share numbers support a future breakout, but it's fair for fantasy managers to wonder where said breakout is. Fortunately, Moore gets a bad Falcons Defense in Week 5. He's posted at least 50 receiving yards in three of four career games against Atlanta.
