D.K. Metcalf Goes For 52 Yards Against Rams

2 years agoSeattle Seahawks wideout D.K. Metcalf got into double digits in fantasy points this week in PPR formats, but it was a relatively quiet game in Week 15 against the Los Angeles Rams on Tuesday. Metcalf caught six of his 12 targets for 52 yards on the night and was often blanketed by shutdown cornerback Jalen Ramsey. He far outpaced the team with 12 targets, with no other player having more than four. Metcalf's longest reception was just 12 yards on the day. Without a big play to help carry him, he ended with a rather pedestrian final stat line. He's unlikely to see this much volume moving forward when Tyler Lockett returns from the COVID list, but he's just hoping to find some of that early season magic that he had prior to quarterback Russell Wilson's injury.--Gage Bridgford - RotoBaller
