Dak Prescott, Cowboys Disagree Over Contract Length
4 years agoDallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott signed his franchise tender on Monday but is still seeking a long-term contract before the July 15 deadline. According to Pro Football Talk, the disagreement comes down to the length of the contract, with Prescott seeking a four-year deal and the Cowboys insisting on a five-year deal. The franchise tag will pay Prescott $31.4 million in 2020, but both sides have stated all along they would like to come to an agreement to keep Prescott in Dallas long-term. Prescott was one of the best quarterbacks in fantasy last season, throwing for over 4,900 yards and 30 touchdowns, and he will enter 2020 as a top-three option at the position.
